Getting a good start in professions with a future
At the beginning of August 2023, there was once again a warm welcome for almost 20 new apprentices at our headquarters in Wuppertal. We have thus maintained the number of our new trainees at a high level for many years – in total, we train an average of just under 40 apprentices and dual students at the same time. On top of that, we were able to inspire the young people for eleven different apprenticeships at the Coroplast Group and two business units. So in 2023, we are and will remain a top employer in the region for career starters in a wide range of occupational fields and sectors.
After an extensive onboarding event and several apprentice training sessions, the new team members are now getting started in their respective departments or in basic training at the BZI!
Onboarding even before the start of the apprenticeship
In May, the new apprentices and dual students had the opportunity to get to know each other informally for the first time at their future workplace. Among them were our apprenticeship managers Melanie Resch and Markus Langendorf as well as three advanced apprentices from higher years of apprenticeship, who were looking forward to sharing their experiences and thus making it easier for the newcomers to start their careers. In addition to the technical discussions about the apprenticeship, there was also a lot of fun with foosball and pizza.
We are looking forward to the further course of training and wish all new trainees much success and fun during their vocational apprenticeship!
