CTT and me – sales & marketing director Xuejuan “Tina” Hong

In September of 2016, I joined the Coroplast Tape Technology (CTT) family and started my career here with great hopes and expectations – and to anticipate the result: my expectations were more than exceeded. When I started at CTT, there were only half as many employees as today, and production was still quite small. Compared to my previous workplace, CTT was a tiny operation. But time flies, and I am happy that I was able to be part of an incredible development over the last years. Coroplast Tape Technology has developed from a small branch office to an independent company – from a company with pure cutting technology to its own coating plant. I am very proud that we have made a big leap forward in sales during my time here – and are growing steadily together with the Chinese automotive industry.

Since 2017, we have carried out the process of building up production capacity and obtained the recognition of domestic products from main OEMs such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, General Motors and Ford. This development contributes significantly to the further expansion of our business in the Chinese market. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, we postponed the production build-up of acrylic adhesive related products, but overall, this has not affected our positive business development. And thanks to the strong Coroplast Tape brand, together we can overcome this challenge.

My career at Coroplast Tape

Since the beginning of my career at Coroplast Tape my personal growth and professional development has been enormous. You can say that the work experience at Coroplast represents a very big turning point in my life: from the position of a key account manager to my current position as sales manager/ change to sales director, from customer service to managing the entire sales team – I had to master many challenges, but I was able to seize my opportunities! My enthusiasm and persistence at work are the driving force for me to move forward, and my goal is to continue to increase the annual turnover. At Coroplast Tape I have learned how to communicate better with customers, and how to present our excellent products to them. At CTT I completed a two-year MBA program and made many friends in the industry who helped me a lot with my work. Here I have many like-minded colleagues who love life and work hard. If your goal at work is to better serve the customer, then we have made Coroplast Tape a relatively small but very fine company.

Looking back, I am very happy that I ended up with this excellent company. And I feel very honored to be a part of CTT and to experience every moment of it. The past is history, the future is worth looking forward to!
